Cerro Bayo is small on purpose: modern lifts, runs lined with lenga and coihue forest, and Nahuel Huapi in the background of nearly every descent. It works perfectly as a quiet base — Villa La Angostura is 9 km away — or as a day trip from Bariloche without Catedral's crowds. Note the premium week in mid-August: it has its own rate.
