Catedral is South America's largest and most complete ski resort: kilometres of runs for every level, top-tier off-piste and a base village with hotels, dining and nightlife 20 minutes from Bariloche. It gets crowded during winter school holidays — start early and avoid late July if you can. The Nahuel Huapi view from the upper mountain justifies the trip on its own.
