Cerro Martial reopened on June 19, 2026 with a new Bartholet quad chairlift (14 towers, 126 seats, 1,450 pax/h) after 15 years out of service. It sits 7 km from downtown Ushuaia overlooking the Beagle Channel. Operation is small: a 1,300m main run with three variations plus a 70m beginner area. Open year-round — skiing in winter and trekking + access to the Martial Glacier in summer. A natural complement to Cerro Castor.
