El Azufre is today freeride and ski-touring terrain with refuges and guides, in a remote southern Mendoza valley reached from Malargüe. The mega-resort project with a mountain village is advancing in stages; meanwhile it's a destination for experienced, self-sufficient skiers — not piste tourism. The calculator doesn't apply: you book by experience.
